Eclipse [sold]

Eclipse safely carried our family on a 10,000 mile voyage of a lifetime around the Caribbean loop. She is back in Florida and ready to go around again, but alas the Hufford crew need to stay ashore for work and school. She is the perfect platform for a Caribbean adventure or circumnavigation.

s/v Eclipse - 2002 Leopard 42, US Duty Paid

Eclipse Rocks.

Fast and Easy.

Huge custom mainsail from Macksails, roller furling jib, cruising spinnaker. She is easy to handle and a joy to sail. When you start buddy boating you’ll probably need to shorten sail so they can keep up.

She’s a beauty.

And your home.

Finding her in the anchorage is easy because she is the prettiest, sleekest catamaran in the fleet. You’ll be taking a lot of pictures back towards the anchorage. Can you imagine... “this is where I live.”

Ready to cruise.

“Just add groceries.”

Of course that is corny broker speak. It’s a boat! Your going to want to add your own touches and some extra gear. But we did a lot of that already: New mainsail, Spectra watermaker, Airbreeze wind generator, Kyocera solar panels, Rocna anchor, Garmin chartplotter, HD radar, AIS receiver, Icom SSB, upgraded freezer, cockpit cushions and curtains, Xantrex inverter,, additional 4G batteries...

Comfort and Space.

Inside and out.

Catamarans are the greatest, and Leopard catamarans combine all of the best features. It is the largest, most comfortable cockpit of any 42’ cat. We added custom cushions inside and out, side curtains, roll down sunshades, upgraded mattresses, insect screens, roller hatch shades, LED lights...

Extras!

She is NOT a bareboat just out of charter.

The Leopard 42 and 43 are nearly the same boat and Robertson & Caine made a lot of them. The difference with Eclipse is she is very clean and well loved. Tons of upgrades and extras like dinghy, outboard, charts, books, anchors, lines, spares...

Adventure.

Just do it.

This was our own secluded beach in the Bahamas (or was it Venezuela?). I know, now we are showing off. You can read more in our blog.
